Nour is a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and Protection Expert with 15 years of humanitarian experience across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Rooted in a deep commitment to dignity, equity, and survivor-centred care, Nour has worked alongside communities navigating conflict, displacement, and protracted crises, bringing both clinical grounding and field-tested expertise to every context.

Nour holds a BA in Clinical Psychology and Psychopathology and an Executive Master's in Psychosocial Support, and is currently completing an MSc in Psychology at Northumbria University, with research focused on the psychological distress of Lebanese national humanitarian workers responding to multiple concurrent crises. A licensed psychotherapist and certified yoga and Ayurveda practitioner, Nour brings an integrative lens to mental health, one that honours the whole person and the cultural contexts that shape wellbeing. This breadth of training spans CBT, trauma-focused therapies, grief support, and trauma-informed coaching, among others.

Through LUMiX, Nour delivers tailored MHPSS interventions, gender-sensitive training, and capacity-building support to local and international organisations working in some of the world's most challenging environments. Fluent in Arabic, French, Spanish and English, and guided by feminist and matriarchal values, Nour designs approaches that are evidence-informed, context-sensitive, and built to last, because sustainable change begins with the people already doing the work.

Katerina is a senior humanitarian protection and conflict analysis specialist with over nine years of experience across some of the world's most complex crises, including Sudan, Iraq, Gaza, Nigeria, Myanmar, and displacement responses in Europe and Latin America. Her work centres on Protection of Civilians, civilian harm and protection risk analysis, and translating complex conflict dynamics into clear, policy-facing analysis for donors, senior leadership, and inter-agency mechanisms.

Katerina has led multi-agency protection consortia — including a GBP 7M FCDO-funded consortium in Sudan and the Protection Consortium of Iraq — and has designed country protection strategies, emergency responses, and gender and protection assessments for organisations including NRC, DRC, CARE, and International Medical Corps. She brings deep expertise in humanitarian advocacy, programme quality, and the integration of gender, GBV, and MHPSS considerations across protection programming, with extensive donor engagement spanning ECHO, FCDO, BHA, UNHCR, and the European Commission.

She holds an MSc in Human Rights, Peace and Sustainable Development from the University of Valencia and a BSc in International and European Studies from the University of Piraeus. Katerina works in Greek, English, and Spanish, with intermediate French.
