Mental Health, Psychosocial Support & Duty of Care

Led by Nour

These services can be offered through a fixed engagement or ongoing support.

Who it’s for

HR directors, staff care focal points, country leadership, and boards of local, national, and international organisations who carry duty-of-care responsibility for teams working in crisis — including, and especially, national staff.

The triggering problem

Staff are responding to concurrent crises and burning out; a critical incident has exposed the absence of a real staff-care system; or an organisation knows its duty-of-care obligations exceed the occasional counselling referral, and needs a system rather than a gesture.

What LUMiX delivers

  • MHPSS programme design, including capacity strengthening and guidance development

  • Confidential individual and team MHPSS support delivered by a licensed psychotherapist, available in Arabic, French, Spanish, and English

  • Organisational wellbeing frameworks: policies, referral pathways, peer-support structures, and critical-incident protocols sized to the organisation, not templated

  • Training and coaching for managers, focal points, and frontline service providers, so the system works between crises, not only during them

  • Digital MHPSS tools development — with privacy, consent, and do-no-harm requirements treated as design constraints, not afterthoughts

  • Integrated Safe Tech, Digital & AI review: assessment of how staff data, wellbeing surveys, and digital MHPSS tools handle privacy, consent, and protection risks

  • Particular attention to national and frontline staff — grounded in Nour's current MSc research on the psychological distress of Lebanese national humanitarian workers responding to concurrent crises

Typical duration

Assignments run from a minimum of 7 days up to 90 days, with most engagements delivered in 2–8 weeks. Offered as a fixed engagement or ongoing support.

What you have at the end

A duty-of-care system your organisation can actually run: clear policies, trained focal points, working referral pathways, and staff who have experienced the support rather than read about it.

Why LUMiX

Nour brings 15 years of MHPSS and protection experience across Asia, Africa, and Europe, clinical grounding as a licensed psychotherapist, and training spanning CBT, trauma-focused therapies, grief support, and trauma-informed coaching.
